Glow With Envy started with a feeling… not a plan.
In 2020, during the pandemic, the world became quiet in a way I had never experienced before. In that stillness, I found myself feeling alone navigating life, motherhood, and my own healing without the connection I was used to.
I needed something to ground me.
Something to make me feel close to the world again.
So, I started making candles.
What began as a small outlet quickly became something deeper. Pouring wax, blending scents, and watching that soft glow come to life became my way of creating comfort in uncertain times.
But more than that…
It became my way of reconnecting.
Each candle felt like a quiet message:
I’m still here. I’m still creating. I’m still connected.

As time went on and the world began to open back up, I stepped back into school systems—and something unexpected happened.
I started bringing candle-making into classrooms.
What my friends once joked about as “candles with a cause” became something real.

Watching students create something with their hands, slow down, and enjoy the process reminded me why I started in the first place.
